FAIRFAX, Va. – The honors continue to roll in for recent George Mason graduate Eric Edwards several months after his decorated collegiate career came to an end.

On Monday, Edwards was named to the Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State University Division Men's Golf Second Team for the second consecutive year.

Edwards finished his collegiate career as both a three-time All-Conference selection and a three-time All-Academic recipient. The Salisbury, N.C., native, had three top 10 finishes this past season and tied for 18th at the Atlantic 10 Championship in May. He also led the team in scoring average (74.13). For his career, he finished in the top 10 a total of 10 times and shared medalist honors at the Elon Phoenix Invitational in 2016.

Edwards, who graduated last month with a degree in finance, set or tied 11 school records. That includes most career birdies (312) and most par or better rounds (43). His 71.70 stroke average in 2016-17 set the program's single-season scoring record.
