The George Mason University Cheerleading program is a spirit squad that supports the George Mason University Athletic Department. Team members have the opportunity to cheer at home basketball games, travel to the A10 conference tournament with the basketball teams, and support various events across the university throughout the academic year. Our season runs from late July-April. The structure of the team varies year to year and is determined by the coach following tryouts. The team participates in local and national competitions when possible. Selected members are required to participate in all games, fundraisers, appearances, etc. as applicable.
