Tied for 18th at Atlantic 10 Championships, finishing in top 25 in all four conference tournaments of career... 2016-17: Named Atlantic 10 All-Conference and to A-10 All-Academic Team... Set single-season scoring record with a 71.70 stroke average for the season to lead the team... Topped Craig Mason's previous school record of 72.54 during the 2001-02 season... His three-year scoring average of 73.88 is second to only Craig Mason (73.14, 2000-04)... Finished in the top 10 four times during the 2016-17 school year... Three times he finished in the top five, including his first collegiate victory at the Elon Phoenix Invitational in October as he shared medalist honors... At the Atlantic 10 Championship, he placed 23rd with a 5-over 221 (69-78-74) and was the Patriots' top finisher at the 54-hole tournament... Also shot par or less in 15 rounds, beating his own school record of 14 he set last year... His 96 birdies were also the most in one season in program history and his five eagles tied Mike Kirby (2005-06) for most in a season... Qualified for and competed in the 2016 U.S. Amateur Championship in August.
2015-16: Led the Patriots with a 73.27 scoring average... Craig Mason owns the top three season scoring averages in the Patriots history, including the top scoring average for a season 72.54 during the 2001-02 season... Finished tied for third place overall at the Atlantic 10 Championships after carding a 219 (72-72-75) and was also named All-Conference.... Owns the second lowest round score and low round vs. par (-7) with a 64 at the OBX Collegiate held at Powell’s Point in October... He has three top 10 finishes, including seven in the top 20 this season... First in the record books for most rounds par or better in a season with 14 in 30 rounds.... All 30 rounds were counted in tournaments, the only player this season to have 100% counted.... His 83 birdies this season ranks fourth in history... Par 3 scoring was 3.1575 good for third and his Par 4 scoring was 4.1600 which is fourth best in Mason history.
2014-15: Played in nine tournaments with two Top 20 finishes... 11th at Atlantic 10 Championship and14th at Blue Devil Spring Shootout... averaged 77.08 strokes... Participated in the prestigious 2015 North and South Men's Amateur Golf Championship, an annual golf tournament held since 1901 at the Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, N.C... He finished the three rounds of stroke play tied for 30th overall... He carded rounds of 77, 76 and 73 on the par 70, 7,198 yard Pinehurst No. 2 course... Named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioners Honor Roll in both the fall of 2014 and the spring of 2015.
