HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – For the sixth straight year, the George Mason men's golf team will call Florida home for a weekend.

The Patriots host the sixth annual Mission Inn Spring Spectacular on Saturday and Sunday at Mission Inn Resort & Club. The 54-hole, two-day tournament begins at 8:15 a.m. on Saturday. Teams will play 36 holes on Saturday and conclude the tournament with 18 holes on Sunday.

The field features 14 teams: Mason, TCU, Indiana, Toledo, Princeton (two teams), Hofstra, Lehigh, Murray State, Presbyterian College, USC Upstate, Florida Atlantic, Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman. TCU is ranked 27th and is the defending tournament champ.

The Patriots have been in Florida all week for spring break as they finished ninth at the USF Invitational earlier in the week. Senior Ellis Messian led the way by finishing 13 for his best finish of the season.
