FAIRFAX, Va. – After collecting her first collegiate victory and catapulting to the top of the Atlantic 10 in her event, George Mason freshman Kiana Stallworth has reeled in the recognition.

Stallworth was named the A-10 Co-Rookie of the Week on Tuesday. The New Rochelle, N.Y., native, won the long jump at the VMI Winter Relays on Saturday in Lexington, Va.

???????Stallworth leapt 5.91 meters (19 feet, 4 ¾ inches) to win by nearly six inches. She also posted the best mark in the A-10 this year by more than eight inches. She competing in the 60-meter dash as well, finishing 10th in 7.80 seconds.

???????The Patriots return to action this weekend with the Atlantic 10 Indoor Championships on Saturday and Sunday at the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, R.I.
