Sophomore Kennedy Harris was named Atlantic 10 women's basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 25-Dec.1. The Hampton, Va. native averaged 25.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists this weekend. She shot 51.4% from the floor, 60% from behind the arc, and 75% from the free throw line.
Harris was the game-high scorer against now-#7 Maryland with 26 points, including four three-pointers, two of which came in a dominant third quarter from the Patriots. Against Navy, Harris once again led the pack with 25 points, including 5-6 from the three-point line. She also added six rebounds, and the first block of her season.
Harris currently averages 18.3 ppg at a .495 clip on the season. She's third in points per game in the Atlantic 10, just 0.2 points off the leader.
