4x Atlantic 10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll...2019 A-10 All-Academic Team

2018-19: A-10 All-Academic Honors…A-10 Player of the Week on April 16…Finished the season with a 13-6 overall singles record, including an 8-4 mark in dual action and a 5-2 tournament record…Partnered mainly with Luke Maxwell and Edward Ayers in doubles…Went a perfect 4-0 in A-10 singles and won his A-10 Championship match vs. La Salle.

2017-18: Tallied a 15-12 singles record, including a 5-3 record in tournament play…Posted a 10-9 dual record mostly at the No. 6 singles spot…Partnered with Carter Bradford for a 6-3 record at the No. 3 doubles spot…Also picked up a doubles win at the No. 3 spot in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Championship…Notable A-10 wins included victories over Saint Joseph’s, Richmond, and Duquesne.

2016-17: 8-6 singles record, including a 3-2 mark in dual action...2-0 in A-10 singles...A-10 wins over George Washington and La Salle...5-6 record in doubles.

2015-16: Won 14 of his singles matches to finish with a 14-9 record; 4-1 from No. 5 singles and 5-4 from No. 6 singles....Finished with a 3-9 record in doubles... earned Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Giuliano Buzoianu is from Bucharest, Romania and has been successful on the ITF circuit. With an ITF junior ranking of 1406, Guiliano has won a couple of national tournaments in Spain. He reached the round of 16s of an ITF junior tournament and the quarterfinals with Melik Feler in the Egypt Futures (F7) ITF Pro Circuit.

Buzoianu friends and family call him Giuli and he likes to hang out with friends, play video games and have fun playing other sports besides tennis. Giuli graduated in 2013 from ES International School and was the valedictorian of his class. He also received awards in history and math.
