FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's and women's swimming and diving teams wrap up the regular season against Georgetown on Saturday at noon at the Aquatic and Fitness Center in Fairfax, Va.

Aoun Al-Hiari won two events against Delaware last Saturday, taking the top spot in both the 100-yard butterfly (47.84) and 200-yard butterfly (1:49.19).Â
SeniorÂ
Tate Anderson touched the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:37.10) and was second in both the 100-yard freestyle (44.17) and 100-yard butterfly (48.98).
JuniorÂ
Ian Rodgers won the 200-yard backstroke (1:47.81) and placed second in the 100-yard backstroke (48.42). JuniorÂ
Christian Anderson won the three-meter diving event (297.25). In the one-meter, Anderson was second (258.00) and sophomoreÂ
Caden Guy placed third (255.60).
On the women's side, seniorÂ
Peyton Brehmer took second in the 50-yard freestyle (23.82) against the Blue Hens. In the 100-yard freestyle, Brehmer was third (52.17) and juniorÂ
Hannah Magdeburg finished fourth (53.13).
In the 200-yard backstroke, freshmanÂ
Alexis Brazier placed third (2:06.77) and sophomoreÂ
Greta Mott was fourth (2:09.70). Brazier took third in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:32.55). FreshmanÂ
Sidney Kaufman finished third in the 200-yard backstroke (57.03).

The Atlantic 10 Championships will be held Feb. 18-21 at the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex in Hampton, Va.
ABOUT THE PATRIOTS
The Mason men's team has 17 returners and five newcomers on the roster for the 2025-26 season.

The Patriots' men's team begins the season with five seniors, 10 juniors, two sophomores returning from last year's roster. The returners will be joined by five newcomers including one graduate student and three freshmen.

THE PATRIOTS SCHEDULE

The George Mason men's and women's swimming and diving teams will compete in eight events with three at home including the annual Patriot Invitational at the Aquatic and Fitness Center.

The Patriots opened the campaign at the Potomac Relay Invitational (Sept. 26), hosted by American University at the Reeves Aquatic Center in Washington, D.C. The men's team placed first and the women's team was fourth.
Â
George Mason then hosted Old Dominion (Oct. 3) for the first home meet of the season. The Patriots' women's team won 10 of 16 events and defeated Old Dominion, 159-103. The men's team won nine of 16 events and downed the Monarchs, 152-110.

The Patriots faced Atlantic 10 Conference opponents for the first time at the Richmond Duals (Oct. 17-18) held at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va. The George Mason men's team took on Davidson in a two-day dual, while the women's team faced Davidson, Duquesne and Richmond in an invitational style event on Friday and competed in a dual against Davidson on day two.

The Patriots traveled to face William & Mary (Nov. 8) at the Bee McLeod Recreation Center in Williamsburg, Va.

George Mason hosted the annual Patriot Invitational (Nov. 19-22) at the Aquatic and Fitness Center. The Patriots' men's team was third and the women's team fifth.

The Patriots were on the road to face Towson (Dec. 19) in the final meet of 2025.

The Patriots compete din two meets in January with a road dual at Delaware (Jan. 17) in Newark, Del., and at home for the final dual of the season against Georgetown (Jan. 24).
