2024-25: Recorded five top-five finishes this season... Atlantic 10 Championships (Feb. 19-22): Improved season-best time in the 500-yard freestyle to 4:41.86, finished 17th in the 400-yard IM (4:08.36), and finished 22nd in the 200-yard backstroke (1:52.46)... Towson vs. George Mason (Jan. 25): Earned a fifth-place finish in the 200-yard IM (1:59.45) and a pair of sixth-place performances in the 200-yard freestyle (1:47.96) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:58.94)... DUQ v. CSU v. GMU (Jan. 18): Earned two fifth-place finishes in the 200-yard backstroke (1:56.04) and the 400-yard IM (4:14.46)... At the Patriot Invitational (Nov. 21-23) in Fairfax, Virginia, Garono achieved season-best times in the 200-yard backstroke (1:52.22) and the 400-yard IM (4:05.78), while finishing 27th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:46.23)... Navy vs. GMU, Loyola, LSU (Oct. 18): Placed 15th in the 200-yard freestyle (1:47.86) and 16th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:56.70)... At the Richmond Duals (Oct. 11-12), he earned fifth-place in the 200-yard freestyle (1:46.92) and two sixth-place finishes in the 400-yard IM (4:18.92) and the 200-yard backstroke (1:59.41). 

PREP:  Attended Western Albemarle High School… Earned four varsity letters in swimming… Four-time All-State selection… Three-time National High School All-American and three-time All-Central Virginia… Team captain of the Warriors… Member of the National Honor Society, National English Honor Society and National Math Honor Society… Competed for club Cavalier Aquatics and Swim Atlanta.
 
PERSONAL:  Son of Jonna and David… Has two siblings, Angelo and Sophia… Hobbies include cooking, playing basketball and coaching… Criminology major.
