Performance History

2024-25: Atlantic 10 Championships (Feb. 19-22): Set three season-best times in the 100-yard freestyle (45.76), the 50-yard freestyle (20.63), and the 100-yard butterfly (51.22)... Towson vs. George Mason (Jan. 25): Competed in the 100-yard freestyle (47.74), finishing fifth, and the 100-yard butterfly (54.34)... DUQ v. CSU v. GMU (Jan. 18): Swam the 100-yard freestyle (48.57) and finished sixth in the 50-yard freestyle (22.25)... Patriot Invitational (Nov. 21-23) at the Aquatic and Fitness Center: Finished 26th in the 50-yard freestyle (21.31) and the 100-yard freestyle (46.95), and finished 39th in the 100-yard butterfly (51.92)... Navy vs. GMU, Loyola, LSU (Oct. 18): Competed in the 50-yard freestyle (21.77), earning 14th place, and swam the 100-yard freestyle (48.47)... At the Richmond Duals (Oct. 11-12) in Hampton, Virginia, Lane recorded a third-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (22.14) and sixth in the 100-yard freestyle (48.84). 

2023-24: Recorded one top-three performance with one individual third place finish… 2024 Atlantic 10 Championships (Feb. 21-24): Competed in the 50-yard freestyle (21.12), 100-yard freestyle (46.02) and 100-yard butterfly (50.33), all season-best times, at 2024 A-10 Championships held at the Hampton Aquaplax in Hampton, Va… vs. UMBC (Jan. 27): Placed third in the 100-yard freestyle (47.99) and was fourth in the 50-yard freestyle (21.76) against the Retrievers at the Aquatic and Fitness Center in Fairfax, Va… at Old Dominion (Jan. 20): Touched the wall third in the 50-yard freestyle (21.80) and was seventh in the 50-yard butterfly (24.11) in dual against the Monarchs in Norfolk, Va… vs. Fairfield (Jan. 13): Took third in the 50-yard freestyle (22.05) and was fourth in the 100-yard freestyle (48.93) against the Stags in Harrisonburg, Va… Patriot Invitational (Nov. 16-18): Placed 24th in the 100-yard freestyle (47.50), 28th in the 50-yard freestyle (21.19) and 35th in the 100-yard butterfly (51.09) at the Patriot Invitational held at the Aquatic and Fitness Center… A-10 Classic (Oct. 27-28): Finished sixth in both the 50-yard freestyle (21.91) and 100-yard freestyle (48.92), and also competed in the 200-yard freestyle with a season-best time (1:48.89) and 100-yard butterfly (53.55) vs. La Salle at the A-10 Classic held at the Aquatic and Fitness Center… Richmond Duals (Oct. 13-14): Placed sixth in the 50-yard freestyle (22.09) and was seventh in both the 100-yard freestyle (50.47) and 50-yard butterfly with a season-best time (24.05) vs. Davidson at the Richmond Duals held at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va… vs. Towson (Oct. 7): Began the season with a sixth place finish in both the 50-yard freestyle (22.06) and 100-yard freestyle (49.49) in dual against the Tigers at the Aquatic and Fitness Center.

PREP:  Four-year letterwinner in swimming at Fairfax High School… Team captain of the Lions… Two-time First Team All-District and First Team All-Region (2022, 2023)… Also competed for Nations Capital Swim Club… Recorded 50-yard freestyle (21.49), 100 L freestyle (53.58), 200-yard freestyle (1:43.90) and 100-yard butterfly (52.05).
 
PERSONAL:  Son of Shannon and Robert… Has one sister, Grace… Eagle Scout… Hobbies include skim boarding and working out… Also recruited by Old Dominion… Geography major.
