FAIRFAX, Va. – Two races. Two awards. Síobhra O'Flaherty's collegiate career is off to a good start.

The George Mason freshman was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the second time this season. She also earned the honor two weeks ago after her collegiate debut at the Mason Invitational.

This past Friday, she led the Patriots again, finishing 18 th at the Princeton Invitational. The native of Carlow, Ireland, ran a time of 21:48.4 on the 6K course. She was the second-fastest freshman in the race, finishing not far behind of Villanova rookie Reilly Seibert (21:39.3).
O'Flaherty helped lead Mason to fourth place, finishing ahead of No. 29 Princeton and Power Five foes Maryland and South Carolina. 

The Patriots are back in action on Oct. 27 with the Atlantic 10 Conference Championships at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Va.
