FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason senior Ella Semple has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Cross Country Performer of the Week for the second time this season, the Atlantic 10 Conference announced on Tuesday.

Semple continued her strong start to the fall, finishing in second-place at the Main Line Invitational. She crossed the line in 17:12.7 in the 5K to once again pace the Patriots and lead the women's squad against a competitive field.

With her second weekly honor, Semple further establishes herself as one of the A-10's top distance runners this season. She previously earned the conference accolade earlier this month following her season-opening performance.

What's Next

The Patriots will return to competition on Friday, October 3, at the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. The first race is set for 9 a.m. ET.
