WASHINGTON, D.C. - The George Mason women's basketball team heads to DC to take on the George Washington Revolutionaries on Sunday, January 11. The game is set to tip-off at 12 p.m ET with Tykera Carter and Daniel Waugh on the call. Tommy Buckles will be on the GoMason Digital Network starting at approximately 11:45 a.m.
This is the 50th matchup between the Patriots and Revolutionaries. GW currently leads the series 30-19, but George Mason has won the last four games in a row.
SCOUTING THE REVOLUTIONARIES
The George Washington women's basketball team enters the matchup with a 9–8 overall record and a 1–3 mark in conference play. The Revolutionaries are averaging 64.8 points per game while allowing 62.0 points per game through 17 contests. As a team, GWU is shooting 41.7 percent from the field, including 32.9 percent from three-point range, and 75.1 percent from the free throw line. - The George Mason coaching staff added a few new pieces and promoted two key staff members this off season. Lauren Stack and Kate McCarney joined as graduate assistants, and Brandon Stewart was appointed Director of Player Personnel.
