Nigel Bowden is the Assistant Director of Basketball Operations for George Mason University Women’s Basketball, bringing a diverse background in basketball operations, logistics, and player development.
Before stepping into this role, he served as a Graduate Assistant Coach and Head Manager for George Mason Men’s Basketball, where he played a pivotal role in team operations, scouting, video analysis, and equipment management. His experience includes live coding games using HUDL SportsCode, creating scouting report presentations, and overseeing a team of 15 student managers.
Additionally, he has NBA front-office experience with the Detroit Pistons, where he assisted in draft prospect logistics, transportation, itinerary planning, and statistical analysis. His work in player engagement and scouting analytics helped streamline the team’s draft preparation.
A proud native of Baltimore, Maryland, he is the son of John and Trishana Bowden and has one older brother.
