FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to action of Wednesday, competing in the 2024 Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships Feb. 21-24 at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va.
All four days of the A-10 Swimming and Diving Championships will be streamed live on ESPN+.
The four-day competition will include a morning preliminary session and an evening final session, with the top 16 performers in each event advancing to the finals.
At the 2023 A-10 Championships, the Mason men's team finished second for the third straight year, while the Patriots' women's team placed third.
On the men's side, the George Washington Colonials won the Atlantic 10 Championship for the third straight year (783), with George Mason second (507.5) and Massachusetts third (458). Davidson was fourth (456.5), followed by Fordham (408.5), St. Bonaventure (357), La Salle (278) and Saint Louis (188.5).
On the women's side, George Washington won the A-10 title for the second straight year (794.5), with Richmond second (479.5) and George Mason third (414). Duquesne was fourth (413.5), followed by Fordham (413), Davidson (310), Massachusetts (255), La Salle (218.5), St. Bonaventure (190), Saint Louis (119) and Rhode Island (83).

The Mason women's team has finished among the top-three teams at the championships each of the last three years.
The Atlantic 10 Championships mark the final team competition of the season for the Patriots.
