2023-24: Recorded three top-three performances, with two individual second place and one individual third place finish… Finished ninth on the team in points (48.50)… 2024 Atlantic 10 Championships (Feb. 21-24): Placed 12th in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.37) and 14th in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:20.73), both season-best times, at 2024 A-10 Championships held at the Hampton Aquaplax in Hampton, Va… vs. UMBC (Jan. 27): Took the top spot in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.78) and took third in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.20) against the Retrievers at the Aquatic and Fitness Center in Fairfax, Va… at Old Dominion (Jan. 20): Finished fourth in the 50-yard breaststroke with a season-best time (31.69) and sixth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:22.52) in dual against the Monarchs in Norfolk, Va… at James Madison/vs. Fairfield (Jan. 13): Placed sixth in the 1000-yard freestyle with a season-best time (11:04.68) and eighth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:32.95) against the Stags and Dukes in Harrisonburg, Va… Patriot Invitational (Nov. 16-18): Placed 11th in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:23.47) and 12th in both the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.17) and 500-yard freestyle with a season-best time (5:05.88) at the Patriot Invitational held at the Aquatic and Fitness Center… A-10 Classic (Oct. 27-28): Touched the wall third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.45) and was eighth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:20.54) vs. Duquesne and La Salle at the A-10 Classic held at the Aquatic and Fitness Center… Richmond Duals (Oct. 13-14): Placed second in both the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.96) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:30.20) vs. Duquesne, finished fifth in the 500-yard freestyle (5:25.40) and eighth in the 200-yard freestyle with a season-best time (2:00.75) vs. Richmond at the Richmond Duals held at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va… vs. Towson (Oct. 7): Began the season fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:10.07) and sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:32.47) in dual against the Tigers at the Aquatic and Fitness Center.

2022-23:  Recorded two top-three performance with one individual second place finish and one individual third-place finish… Posted 21.00 points during the season… Placed 24th in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.44), 28th in the 200-yard breaststroke with a season-best time (2:26.89) and 53rd in the 50-yard freestyle with a season-best time (24.66) at the 2023 Atlantic 10 Championships held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio Feb. 15-18… Placed sixth in both the 50-yard breaststroke with a season-best time (31.79) and 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.71) vs. Old Dominion and Campbell in Norfolk, Va. Jan. 28… Finished fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.66) and seventh in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:33.49) vs. UMBC Jan. 21… Placed 15th in both the 100-yard breaststroke with a season-best time (1:06.03) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:25.78) and 36th in the 50-yard freestyle (24.99) at the Patriot Invitational at the Aquatic and Fitness Center Nov. 17-19… Placed 15th in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:09.43) and 33rd in both the 50-yard freestyle (25.61) and 100-yard freestyle (55.91) at the A-10 Classic held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio Oct. 29-30… Touched the wall fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:08.16) and seventh in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:30.86) on day one placed third in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:07.69) and fifth in 200-yard breaststroke (2:30.28) on day two at the Richmond Duals Oct. 21-22… Began the season with a second place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.69) and a fourth place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:27.07) ) vs. Towson Oct. 8.

PREP: Attended Teft County High School where she earned varsity letters in swimming, cross country and track… Named 2021 Blue Devils Swimmer of the Year… Earned the 2020 TCHS Swimming Coaches Award… 2022 Georgia Senior State Champion in the 100 breaststroke, placed third in the state in the 200 breaststroke and placed fourth in the 50 breaststroke… GHSA Region 1-7A winner in the 100 breaststroke and 200 IM (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021).
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Kari and Michael Toews… Has two siblings, Abbi and Emerson… Hobbies include running, kayaking and hiking… Plans to major in biology.
