FAIRFAX, Va. – The Patriots are taking their first road trip of the conference season to face the Davidson Wildcats in Davidson, N.C. this weekend. The teams will face off on Friday, Oct. 4 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m.
The Patriots and Wildcats are 4-12 historically, including two matches last season that Davidson won. The Patriots haven't beaten the Wildcats since 2018.
Davidson is 5-8 on the season, 1-1 in conference play after they split with Loyola Chicago last weekend. They are picked to finish fourth in the conference this year. The Wildcats are led by Isabel Decker with 176 kills and 196.5 points.

- Senior Olyvia Kennedy continues to lead the Patriots with 136 kills, but freshman Avery Booker is hot on her heals with 133 kills of her own.
- The dynamic duo of redshirt junior Damiana Bova-Ford and sophomore Camryn Weldon continue to lead the team in assists with 265 and 290, respectively.
- Sophomores Chelsea Colter and Autumn Martinez-Robinson continue to lock down on the defensive end. Colter leads the Patriots in blocks with 54 and Martinez-Robinson leads the team in digs with 200.
- This weekend is a homecoming of sorts for assistant coach Peyton Ehmke who spent the 2023 season as an assistant coach for the Davidson Wildcats.
