HISTORY: This will be Mason's first ever meeting with Iowa.
FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team (0-7-0) will host Iowa (5-0-1) at George Mason Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 10, at noon. This will be the first meeting between the Patriots and Hawkeyes. This will also wrap up non-conference action for the Patriots this season.
Sunday's game will also be Mason's Game of the Week. Students who attend the game will receive
free Mason Soccer picnic blankets and are encouraged to stay after the game for a Postgame Picnic on the Pitch.
TICKETING INFORMATION
Regular season home games for George Mason Women's Soccer will require a ticket for entry. They are available for purchase online in advance, calling the Athletic Ticket Office at 703-993-3270, or by purchasing at the George Mason Stadium Gate. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth 12 and under. Discounted rates are available for groups of 10 or more as well as George Mason faculty and staff.

LAST TIME OUT
Last Thursday, the Patriots went around the Beltway to face off against Maryland in College Park. Despite a strong defensive effort and stout goalkeeping,
the Patriots fell to the Terrapins 2-0.
Freshman goalkeeper
Ginny Fronk recorded a career-high 11 saves on the night, bringing her season total to 48 saves. She continues to lead the Atlantic 10 Conference in total saves and saves per game, which is now at 6.86.
SCOUTING IOWA
The Hawkeyes have already matched last season's win total six games into the season, starting with an unbeaten 5-0-1 record. They have shutout their opponents in every game except in their in-state rivalry match against Iowa State, where they edged out a 2-1 victory over the Cyclones. Iowa is currently third in the Big Ten Conference and received a top-25 vote in this week's
United Soccer Coaches College Rankings.
In their most recent game, the Hawkeyes played No. 18 Virginia to a scoreless draw in Charlottesville.
Junior forward/midfielder Kenzie Roling shares the team lead in goals scored with two. She also leads the team in assists with three. The other two Iowa players with two goals are junior forward Elle Otto and redshirt senior midfielder Josie Durr.
Four other Hawkeyes have one goal this season. They are forwards Sophie Kincaid, Meike Ingles, Shae Doherty and midfielder Sofia Bush. Shae Doherty is the only other Iowa player other than Kenzie Roling with an assist on the team.
Senior Macy Enneking has seen the most action in goal for Iowa. The Hilliard, Ohio, native has recorded four shutouts and has made 15 saves. Enneking has a goals against average of .171, which is second best in the Big Ten.
HISTORY WITH THE HAWKEYES
This will be the first time Mason will face Iowa in Women's Soccer program history.
