The George Mason wrestling team held its annual wrestle-offs this morning at the George Mason Field House. A total of 13 matches were wrestled. 
 
"I was really happy with the team's focus today," said Head Coach Frank Beasley. "We went through the process of weighing-in and simulating a match.  I thought the team competed hard for their first time down to weight and in a match atmosphere.  There were some great matches and it was a lot of fun."
 
The Patriots will be on the mat to begin the season next Sunday, January 24 at Mid-American Conference opponent Rider.
