FAIRFAX, Va. - The George Mason women's soccer team returns home for a Sunday afternoon matchup with Binghmton (4-1), with kickoff slated for 1 p.m.
This will be the first ever regular season matchup between the two programs.
In their last outing, the Patriots (0-3-1) dropped a road contest against Maryland by a score of 3-0. In the match, redshirt senior goalkeeper Morgan Symmers recorded a career-high nine saves.
The Bearcats have had an impressive start to their season, as they have outscored their opponents 9-5. Binghamton has also outshot their opponents 76-37 in their five matches.
Binghamton is coming off of a convincing 3-1 road victory against American. The Bearcats earned 10 shots (eight on goal) and five corner kicks. Two of their three goals were unassisted.
The Patriots are looking to secure their first win of the 2019 season on the team's second Game of the Week appearance.
