FAIRFAX, Va. – After two straight weeks on the road, the George Mason women's volleyball team will round out the 2019 season with three consecutive home matches. The homestand begins with a lone match on Friday against George Washington. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the RAC.

Friday's match will be Camp Night. All Gold Star Volleyball Camp participants with their camp t-shirt will receive free admission to the game.

The Patriots then conclude the season with a pair of matches against Rhode Island (Nov. 15) and Fordham (Nov. 16). Mason will honor its three seniors – Kelly Fagan, Bailey Williams and Katrina Santos – prior to Saturday's match against Fordham at 5 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Mason suffered losses to VCU (Nov. 1) and Davidson (Nov. 3) to move to 4-19 overall and 0-11 in conference play.

Sophomore ShaLi Niu posted a season-high 23 kills at a season-best clip of .354 against Davidson. The opposite hitter recorded 32 kills over two matches with only seven attacking errors. She also added nine kills (.308 pct) in Mason's straight-set loss to VCU.

Sophomore Marlanna Bozicevich has steadied Mason's defense over the last four matches. The San Marcos, Calif., native posted a career-high 19 digs to go along with four kills against Davidson.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
George Washington (13-12, 6-5 A-10)
The Colonials are coming off a 1-1 weekend, earning a four-set victory at Davidson before falling in straight sets to first-place VCU.

The Colonials need just one win in their final three games (or one Duquesne loss) to secure a trip to the A-10 Championship for the second time in three years under head coach Sarah Bernson. GW is currently tied for fourth place with La Salle but holds the tiebreaker due to two head-to-head victories over the Explorers.
