FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's volleyball team kicks off a four-match homestand, beginning with a pair of matches against Dayton and Saint Louis this weekend. The Patriots welcome Dayton to the RAC at 7 p.m. on Friday for Mason's Game of the Week. Students will receive free McAlister's Deli with valid student ID.
On Saturday, Mason hosts Girl Scout Night as they take on the Saint Louis Billikens. First serve scheduled for 7 p.m., with a post-match clinic for Girl Scouts in attendance.

Mason suffered two straight-set losses to La Salle (Oct. 4) and Duquesne (Oct. 6) last weekend to move to 0-3 in conference play. Sophomore setter
Erin Derick tabbed her seventh career double-double (26a/10d) against La Salle while junior outside hitter
Alessia Del Romano notched career highs in kills (9) and blocks (4) in the loss.

Bailey Williams posted nine kills at a .400 clip with a team-high 10 digs in Mason's setback to Duquesne.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
Dayton (10-6, 3-0)
Dayton is currently on a four-match winning streak, including three straight wins to start conference play. The Flyers picked up two wins over Rhode Island and Fordham last weekend, only dropping one set.
The Flyers are led by redshirt sophomore Jamie Peterson. The outside hitter was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for the third time this season on Oct. 7. She notched back-to-back double-doubles last weekend, averaging 5.71 kills per set and 4.00 digs per set.
The Patriots are looking for their first-ever win against the Flyers. Dayton holds a 10-0 advantage in the series history.
Saint Louis (8-8, 2-1)
Saint Louis defeated Fordham (Oct. 4) and Rhode Island (Oct. 6) to improve to 2-1 in A-10 play. The Billikens' lone conference loss came against Dayton by a score of 3-0.
Junior Maya Taylor leads SLU's offense with 4.18 kills per set – good for second in the A-10. The outside hitter has tabbed Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honors twice this season. Junior setter Kennedy Cordia guides the offense with 9.05 assists per set. She ranks eighth all-time in Billiken history with 2,105 career assists.
Last year, Mason earned its first-ever win against SLU on Sept. 22, 2018 in Fairfax, Va. Saint Louis later swept Mason in the A-10 Quarterfinals on Nov. 16, 2018 in Richmond, Va., to improve its all-time record to 9-1 over the Patriots.
