Box Score SAINT LOUIS, Mo. – The George Mason women's volleyball team went the distance on Friday night, but ultimately came up short against Saint Louis in five sets.
The Patriots drop to 4-16 overall and 0-8 in conference play while the Billikens earned their seventh straight win to move to 7-1 in A-10 play.
Mason finishes up its Midwest road swing with a 1 p.m. match against league-leader Dayton on Sunday.

Bailey Williams tabbed her fifth double-double of the season in route to one of the best performances of her career. The outside hitter hit a career-high .432 with 18 kills and 15 digs. Sophomore
ShaLi Niu added 16 kills and four blocks while
Peyton Ehmke posted five blocks and nine kills.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Despite only tallying eight team kills, Mason took the first set, 25-23. SLU posted 16 team kills but recorded 11 attacking errors to help lift the Patriots to the set win.
- A 4-0 scoring run, including three straight kills from Williams and one from Katie Parmalee, cut Saint Louis' lead to two, 20-18, in the second set. The Billikens held on to claim the frame, 25-22.
- The Billikens used an 8-3 scoring run to claim a nail-bitter third set, 26-24. The Patriots tallied 16 team kills in the frame, but hit .196.
- The Patriots hit a set-high .345 to even the match, two sets apiece, with a 25-19 fourth-set win.
- Saint Louis finished the fifth on a 4-1 scoring run, winning 16-14.
- SLU held the advantage in almost every statistical category except for hitting percentage. The Patriots outhit the Billikens, .255 to .215.
