SCOUTING RHODE ISLAND
The Rams (7-11, 2-4 A-10) have lost three of four and are coming off a 74-39 loss at VCU on Thursday. Three players are averaging double figures scoring for the Rams: Elemy Colome (13.8 ppg), Nicole Jorgensen (12.0 ppg) and Davida Dale (10.7 ppg). Jorgensen ranks second in the Atlantic 10 in shooting percentage (.487) and Abby Streeter boasts the second-best percentage from beyond the arc (.404).

SERIES HISTORY
The Patriots have won three straight for a 3-2 lead in the series, all five meetings coming since Mason joined the Atlantic 10 in 2013-14. Last year, the Patriots rolled to a 92-53 victory at Rhode Island for their most points in a A-10 game in four years and largest margin of victory in a league game since joining the A-10 in 2013-14. Nicole Cardaño-Hillary scored 22 points and the Patriots nabbed 17 steals for their most in 12 years.

ATLANTIC 10 LEADERS
Several Patriots are among the league's best in numerous statistical cat­egories. Sophomore Nicole Cardaño-Hillary leads the Atlantic 10 in scor­ing with 19.9 points per game. In conference games, she is averaging a league-best 20.8 points. Junior Jacy Bolton, who has six double-doubles this season, leads the A-10 with 8.7 rebounds a game. She is grabbing 10.2 rebounds (second-most) in A-10 play. Sophomore forward Camarie Gatling ranks second in the conference in shooting percentage (.553).

LAST TIME OUT
The Patriots rallied from an 11-point first-half deficit to knock off George Washington in a 64-60 road victory on Jan. 19. The win was Mason's first over GW since Dec. 22, 2011, snapping a 13-game losing streak, and first in the Smith Center in D.C. since 2002. Junior Jacy Bolton recorded her sixth double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Junior Sarah Ka­minski scored all 14 points in the first half and grabbed seven rebounds. Sophomore Nicole Cardaño-Hillary add 13 points, seven rebounds and six assists. The Patriots took the lead for good in the third quarter as they held the Colonials to just six points in the period. Mason also outrebounded GW 49-27 and scored 28 points in the paint.
