FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team concludes a two-game homestand, hosting Saint Joseph's on Thursday with the kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. at George Mason Stadium.
Last time out, Mason (8-4-0, 3-1-0 A-10) blanked Davidson, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon in Fairfax.
Senior midfielder
Emily Littell scored two goals, including the game winner for the second straight match. Graduate student
Jewel Christian netted her second goal of the season.
Senior forward
Nia Elbeck picked up her second assist of the season, while freshman forward
Emma van der Vorst also had an assist in the game.
Against the Wildcats, the Patriots scored the first goal for the seventh straight contest.
Littell was named Atlantic 10 Co-Offensive Player of the Week after scoring three goals in two games, while van der Vorst earned A-10 Rookie of the Week honors for the third time this season after recording a goal and two assists in Mason's two victories.
Mason improved to 5-1-0 at home this season, with four of the victories by a single goal. The Patriots have posted home wins over Old Dominion (2-1), East Carolina (2-1), James Madison (3-2), Dayton (2-1) and Davidson (3-0) at George Mason Stadium.
Emma van der Vorst is tied for second in the A-10 in goals (8) and points (19). Littell and Christian are tied for second on the squad in points (7).

Morgan Symmers (7-3-0, 1.57) is tied for third in the A-10 in wins by a goalkeeper (7). Sophomore goalkeeper
Louisa Moser (1-1-0, 1.48) made two saves to earn the shutout against Davidson on Sunday.
The Patriots and Hawks played to a 2-2 double-overtime draw last season at Sweeney Field in Philadelphia, Pa. Both teams finished with 21 shots in the game, while Saint Joseph's had a 9-8 advantage in shots on goal.
SCOUTING SAINT JOSEPH'S
Saint Joseph's has an overall record of 7-4-2, including a mark of 2-2-0 against Atlantic 10 opponents. The Hawks are 4-2-1 at home and 3-2-1 on the road this season.

Senior defender Paige Bergman leads Saint Joseph's in assists (4) and is tied for third in points (6).
Senior goalkeeper Grace Bendon ranks sixth in the Atlantic 10 with a 0.97 goals against average.
