FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason women's soccer team returns home to face Duquesne on Thursday, with the kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. at George Mason Stadium.
Last time out, Mason (9-5-0, 4-2-0 A-10/12 Pts.) blanked Massachusetts, 1-0, on Sunday at Rudd Field in Amherst, Mass.
Mason freshman forward
Emma van der Vorst scored her third game-winning goal of the season in the 47th minute. She was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season after scoring a goal in each game last week.
The Patriots scored the first goal for the ninth straight match and improved to 6-1-0 in games decided by one goal.
Emma van der Vorst leads the Atlantic 10 in goals (10) and points (23) and ranks tied for third in the conference in game-winners (3). She is also tied for third in the A-10 in shots (41) and is tied for fourth in the league in shots on goal (22).

Redshirt junior goalkeeper
Morgan Symmers (11 games/849 minutes) has a 1.48 goals against average and has registered 29 saves. She is tied for fourth in the A-10 in wins by a goalkeeper (7).
Sophomore goalkeeper Louis Moser (6 games/378 minutes) has a 1.90 goals against average and has recorded 17 saves.
The Patriots are tied for fifth place in the A-10 with Saint Joseph's and George Washington with 12 points.
