The piece, written by Dan Steinberg, centers on Butler's journey to George Mason as she spent her freshman year at Georgetown before transferring to Connecticut, where she played the last two years. The 6-foot-5 center from nearby Fairfax Station, Va., leads the country in rebounding (15.2 rpg), is tied for the most double-doubles (17) and ranks second in the Atlantic 10 in scoring (18.2 ppg).
