The Patriots take their final regular season road trip of the season this weekend for a three-game set against La Salle in Philadelphia, Pa. The first game is on Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the first ever meeting between the two programs.

With two weekends remaining in the regular season the top 11 teams in the Atlantic 10 conference are separated by just four games. Mason and La Salle are both tied with UMass for the seventh and final spot in the A-10 tournament with a 9-9 conference record. After three games this weekend the Patriots host UMass for three in the final weekend of the regular season.

For the fourth consecutive time Mason won its weekend series two games out of three, this round against Davidson. Luke Willis continues to lead the conference with 48 runs scored, 70 hits and 28 steals while spotting up at third with a .370 batting average. He is in the midst of a 23-game active hit streak, one longer than the 22-game active hit streak of Brandon Gum.

In his last four starts on the mound, redshirt senior Jake Kalish has a record of 3-1 and an ERA of 2.89. He has thrown only five walks compared to 21 strikeouts in that span and leads the weekend staff with an overall ERA of 3.17. Evan Porcella and Tyler Tobin continue to provide outstanding relief in the back of the bullpen with ERA's of 2.04 and 2.33 respectively, the lowest on the team. Each has made at least 20 appearances on the mound.

La Salle is the offensive juggernaut of the conference, ranking in the top two of every major offensive category, including the best slugging percentage and on base percentage and the most runs batted in, doubles and total bases. Justin Korenblatt tops the A-10 with a .387 average and .497 on base percentage.
