2015: Led Mason with 23 appearances, all out of the bullpen... Also led the staff with a 1.93 ERA and a .197 opponent batting average... Did not give up an earned run in his last 12 innings pitched... Ended the year with a 1-3 record in 37.1 IP... Eight earned runs allowed with 28 strikeouts and 11 walks... Pitched in two shutouts: vs. Kansas State on 2/14 and at La Salle on 5/9... Threw a season-high three innings against Canisius on 2/28... Struck out four batters on two occasions... 2014: Appeared in 16 games for the Patriots in his first season at Mason, starting one... Lone start of the season came at Maryland on April 23... Pitched 29 innings, allowing 15 earned runs on 31 hits for an ERA of 4.66... 18 strikeouts to 14 walks... Earned his only save of the season in 2.1 scoreless innings pitched vs. Fairfield on March 1... Longest outing of the season was four innings against Wichita St. on February 22... Single-game high of four strikeouts in both games against Fairfield and Wichita St... 15 relief appearances was third most on the team.
At Orange Coast: Appeared in 10 games with six starts … Earned a 3-2 record with one complete game in 34.1 innings of work and a 3.15 ERA … Struck out 13 and walked 13 over the season … Picked up the win after six innings, allowing one run while striking out five against Southwestern (Feb. 20) … Finished the season with a complete-game performance against Palomar (May 4).
High School: Lettered in basketball and baseball … Compiled a 6-2 record with 2.93 ERA and four saves during career with the Vanguards … Earned the scholar-athlete award in both sports and was a member of the National Honor Society.
