2016: Made 14 starts for the second straight season…Named to the Atlantic 10 Conference All-Academic Team…Finished with a 4-8 record and a 3.75 ERA…Allowed 43 runs, 36 earned, on 84 hits over 86.1 innings…Struck out 65 and walked 11…Finished first on the team in innings pitched (86.1), strikeouts (65), wins (4), and complete games (2)…86.1 innings pitched and 65 strikeouts were both career highs…Recorded at least five strikeouts in eight of his 14 starts and did not walk more than two batters in any start…Pitched at least 5.0 innings in 11 of his 14 starts and at least 7.0 innings in each of his last six starts of the season…His 3.75 ERA ranked second on the staff and first among Mason starting pitchers…Among Atlantic 10 Conference pitchers finished with the second-fewest walks (11), tied for fourth with 23 batters struck out looking and ranked 24th in ERA (3.75)…Allowed three hits over 8.0 scoreless innings and struck out five with one walk against Siena to earn his first win of the season March 12…Allowed one run on three hits with six strikeouts and no walks in a complete game 1-0 loss April 15 at George Washington…Tossed a complete game two-hitter and recorded a season-high nine strikeouts with no walks April 23 in a 2-0 win at Radford (threw a first-pitch strike to 22 of the 30 batters he faced in the game)…Was named A-10 Co-Pitcher of the Week April 25 for his win April 23 at Radford (9.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 9 K, 0 BB)…Surrendered just two runs on five hits with six strikeouts and one walk in 8.0 innings April 29 in a 3-2 win over Richmond for his third victory of the season...Did not allow a run on five hits and recorded six strikeouts with just one walk over 8.0 innings May 13 in a 2-0 victory over La Salle…Held opponents to a .256 batting average…Started eight games at Spuhler Field and six games on the road...Earned three of his four wins at Spuhler Field.

High School: Four-year letterwinner for the Leemen in baseball while also playing three years of basketball…Three-time All-Valley District, two-time All-Western Region and a one-time All-State honoree…Struck out 68 batters in 38.1 innings during his senior season, amassing a 1.67 ERA and hitting .400 at the plate…Posted a 1.33 ERA in 2012 while hitting .508 that year…Member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Parents are Fonda Morris and Tim Zombro…Father played baseball while mother played basketball and volleyball at Bridgewater College…Grandfather, Melvin “Wimpy” Zombro, played in the Philadelphia Athletics organization…Plans to major in pre-physical therapy.
