The George Mason baseball team begins its second to last weekend of Colonial Athletic Association play as it travels to the College of William & Mary for a three-game series beginning Friday night at Plumeri Park. Live audio will be available for all three contests.
Mason is coming off a 9-5 win at Temple University on Wednesday afternoon, in which the Patriots tallied 13 hits including a 3-for-4, three-RBI afternoon for Josh Leemhuis. The junior outfielder has been on a tear recently, sporting a 10-game hitting streak. Since the April 10 game against Maryland, Leemhuis has batted .512 with 13 runs batted in and 10 extra-base hits.
The Tribe, meanwhile, rank 30th in the latest NCAA RPI and sit third in the CAA standings. Most recently, W&M fell in all three games of their series at Old Dominion last weekend. Michael Katz is the top hitter, batting .391 including 27 runs batted in and 13 doubles, while the pitching staff ERA of 3.80 is third among conference squads.
