FAIRFAX, Va. - Tiana Kallenberger scored twice for the George Mason women's soccer team, but a late goal from Longwood led to overtime as the teams played to a 2-2 draw Sunday afternoon at George Mason Stadium.

Mason (0-3-2) held a 20-12 advantage in shots and 6-3 edge on corner kicks over Longwood (2-3-3) in the contest. Kallenberger led the Patriots with five shots, while Mary Kate Lowry added four. Alex Bodenschatz got the start in goal and picked up two saves playing the first half, while Lyndse Hokanson came in to start the second half and closed the game. Hokanson recorded one save in 65 minutes played. Longwood recorded four saves between Kyra Byron and Shelby Hall.

Longwood got on board first as the Lancers capitalized on a corner kick early in the match. On the corner, Kacie Oliver made a short pass out to Kelsey Pardue who shot it back to Oliver on the left corner of the box. Oliver connected on the pass, sending a shot from 18-yards out into the upper right corner for the goal in the 10^th minute.

Tiana Kallenberger knotted the score at 1-1 at the 23:06 mark. Jazmin Cardoso sent a free kick to the right corner of the net and as the keeper moved to intercept the kick, Zoe Doherty chipped it to Kallenberger as the Patriot finished the play in front of the net to tie the score.

The Patriots posted a threat to take the lead in the 31^st minute when Lowry sent a perfect cross to Liz Hodges, but the shot went just high as the teams ended the first period of regulation at 1-1.  

The Green and Gold took the lead, 2-1, on Kallenberger's second goal of the contest coming at the 61:41 mark. Kallenberger connected on a cross pass from Nicole Clark on the right side and slipped it past the keeper in the right corner to give the Patriots the advantage.

Mason kept Longwood on edge for the next 20 minutes of action until the Lancers converted on their fifth shot in the half. Oliver netted her second goal of the afternoon to tie the score at 2-all as the senior blasted a shot from 18-yards out to the far side for the equalizer in the 83^rd minute.

The Patriots forced Hall into a save two minutes into overtime, but posed a strong scoring threat in the second overtime when Kallenberger carried the ball off a pass from Zania Barnum at midfield, slipped around a defender and sent a shot just wide with five minutes to play. Mason dominated possession in overtime and rattled off six shots, but could not find the back of the net as the teams closed the contest in a 2-2 draw.

George Mason returns to the field to face Saint Francis (Pa.) on Tuesday, September 14 at 4 p.m. in a rescheduled matchup.
