Alex Zyryanov
earned a spot in the IC4A Championships on
Friday as members of the George Mason track and field teams competed at the
Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton University on Friday. Other members of
the track and field team will compete on Saturday at Morgan State and James
Madison.
Zyryanov ran the 5000 meters in 14:32.32, topping the
qualifying time by nearly four seconds. He finished 41st
in the
event. Also competing at the Larry Ellis Invitational in the 1500 meters were

3:52.42, 3:53.33, 3:53.53, 3:56.09 and 4:15.22. In the 800 meters, Golden was
31st
in 1:52.86 while Pachella was 37th
in 1:53.09.
Calllan was 28th
in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of
9:18.75 and Ma was 39th
in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:36.86.
