Junior middle blocker Lucas Little was named the EIVA Defensive Player of the Week., the third time that he has earned the honor in his career. He was a key player for the Patriots in their two wins over Mount Olive last weekend, victories that extended the Mason winning streak to five matches. Little had four kills, four blocks and one dig in Mason's 3-0 win against the Trojans.  He recorded six kills and a career-high nine blocks in the Patriots 3-1 victory over Mount Olive. He has recorded 30 total blocks so far this season averaging 0.97 blocks per set, has 48 kills in 31 sets to have an average of 1.55 kills per set and has scored 79 points for the Patriots.
