Freshman Kennedy Harris was named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the second time in her career, announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Harris' honor marks the second-straight and third overall for the Patriots this season, as she earned it in the opening week of the 2023-24 season.
In her first Atlantic 10 contest against La Salle, the guard from Hampton, Va. tallied 11 points at a .444 clip, including going 3-5 from three-point range. The three makes from beyond the arc match a career-high and bring her season total to 18, ranking her first on the team and 19th in the conference. In addition to her strong shooting day, Harris pulled down a career-best six rebounds to lead the team.
