Playing in the A Flight at the Navy Blue & Gold Invitational, La finished in third place, this highest finish for a Mason player in the tournament. She defeated Maddy Meller-Hughes from UNCW in the quarterfinals before falling to eventual champion Regina Pitts from Seton Hall, 6-3, 6-4 in the semifinal round. She won the consolation final, 8-5 against Navy's Kacey Moore. La, a freshman, is off to an impressive 11-1 start in singles.
