Fairfax, Va. (February 14, 2010)--George Mason University Athletic Director Tom O'Connor has suspended sophomore men's basketball player Mike Morrison for one game for failing to meet the standards expected of a Mason student-athlete.

The Patriots Morrison was charged with a double technical foul and ejected early in the second half at Old Dominion yesterday. He will miss Mason's next two games, both at home, against William & Mary on Tuesday per CAA rules and will serve the suspension against the College of Charleston in the ESPN Bracketbuster contest on Saturday.

Morrison has started 25 of Mason's 26 games this season and is averaging 8.0 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. He is shooting 53.9% from the field and has a team-high 40 blocks.
