2017: Appeared in 46 sets over 20 matches... Named to Benson Hospitality Challenge All-Tournament Team with a 9.54 assist per set average over 13 sets... Posted a double-double with a season high 41 assists and 11 digs vs. LIU Brooklyn (8/26)... Recorded eight matches of at least 20 assists... Finished season with 34 assist, three kill, one service ace performance vs. Dayton (11/11)...
2016: Played in 78 sets across 21 matches her junior season. Schaller’s best performance of the season came against Davidson (Oct. 9) where she recorded three season-highs – including 21 digs, two points, and two aces. The Tampa, Fla. native had a career-high 49 assists twice this season – versus American (Aug. 27) and Penn (Sept. 10). In total, Schaller assisted 493 times, averaging 7.00 assists per set – second best on the team…recorded 119 digs, averaging 1.71 digs per set – fourth best on the team…scored 13.0 points, averaging 0.22 points per set.
2015: Appeared in two matches…Recorded 25 assists (6.25 a/s) and five digs (1.25 d/s) in four sets played...Had 25 assists and one kill in three sets played vs. Western Carolina Sept. 5.
2014: Competed in all 26 matches for the Patriots...Finished with 180 digs on the season...Recorded a career-high 22 digs along with a kill and a service ace against Manhattan Sept. 12 (the match was one of four where Schaller recorded doublt-digit digs).
Prep: Competed for Freedom High School in Tampa, Fla....Lettered all four years in volleyball...Schaller was a four year captain, MVP, All-Conference and All-County during her time with the Patriots...Also played for Tampa Stars Volleyball for five years and Opimum Volleyball for one year...She is the All-Time leader in assists and aces at Freedom High School and set the state record for most assists by a freshman...Earned bid to USAV Junior National Championship- National Division and second place in Florida Junior National qualifier.
Personal: Born 2/7/1996 in Tampa, Florida...Parents are Debbie and Bob Schaller...Has two brothers, Kurt, and her twin, Kent...Her father, Bob, played football at Pittsburg State University from 1985-1987 and brother, Kurt, currently plays football at Stetson University...Enjoys going to the beach and beach volleyball.
