Kyle St. Peter joined the George Mason University Sports Medicine staff in September 2021 and serves as the primary Athletic Trainer for Men’s and Women’s Volleyball.

He completed his undergraduate education in Athletic Training at Bowling Green State University (OH) in May 2016. Following his undergraduate education, Kyle earned a Graduate Certificate in Medical Physiology (2018) from the University of Florida, College of Medicine and a Master of Science in Kinesiology (2019) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also holds post-professional credentials/certifications in M-1 Graston Technique (Graston Technique, LLC), ImPACT Trained Athletic Trainer (ImPACT Applications, LLC), and is SafeSport Trained (U.S. Center for SafeSport).

Kyle came to George Mason from the state of Michigan where he had extensive clinical experience working in the Secondary School setting, most recently at Milford High School (Highland, MI). Prior to coming to GMU he also served as Head Athletic Trainer for the Jet Box Collegiate Baseball Club – Great Lakes Collegiate Summer League – and served on the medical team for the NAHL/3HL Top Prospects Tournament at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, MI. Kyle also came to GMU with 7 years of experience as an Emergency Medical Technician.

Concurrent with his appointment at George Mason, Kyle serves as a clinical preceptor for the GMU Master of Science in Athletic Training program. He has also been involved in the planning and implementation of emergency preparedness trainings for the GMU Sports Medicine staff. Kyle also serves as a member of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee Medical Volunteer Corps. 

Kyle hails from Sterling Heights, MI. He currently resides in Fairfax and enjoys golfing, attending D.C. sporting events - when his beloved Detroit sports teams come to town - and spending time with friends during his free time.
