2022: Appeared in 13 games and started three in her senior season…Finished the season with 12 points and a career high of 12 goals…Recorded at least one goal in six of her games and two or more goals in four games…Led the team in scoring with four goals in an 18-5 defeat of Howard…Grabbed six ground balls during the season.

2021: Appeared in all 15 games and started two in her junior season…Finished the season with nine goals and nine assists for a total of 18 points…Ranked second in assists for the team in 2021…Tabbed seven ground balls and one draw control…Led the team in goals by scoring three in the 11-10 victory over Radford on March 6…Scored at least one goal in six of her appearances…Notched three assists in action against Davidson on March 26.

2020: Appeared in all seven games...Notched five points (3g, 2a) on the year...Season-best four points (2g, 2a) in the Feb. 15 win over William & Mary...Picked up a ground ball on Feb. 19 in the win over Delaware...Tallied a goal during the Feb. 25 triumph at Mt. St. Mary's.

2019: Appeared in five games… Finished the season with three goals and two assists for five points… Recorded six shots on goal, one ground ball and caused one turnover… Made her collegiate debut, recording first NCAA goal and first two assists of her career in Mason’s 17-6 win at Iona College on March 9… Played in Patriots’ 9-8 vs. Richmond on March 22… Scored her second goal of the season on her lone shot on goal in 20-6 win vs. La Salle on March 24… Tallied a season high four shots, scored third goal of the season and caused one turnover in Mason’s 19-5 victory vs. St. Bonaventure on March 31.

Prep: West Genesee High School - Varsity Lacrosse (2018 leading points scorer) Second Team All- League; Under Armor 2018 uncommitted team.  Varsity Tennis (2018 Captain) Second Team All-League.  Member of the Business & Marketing Honor Society, National Honor Society, and Student Senate. 

Personal: Daughter of Tom and Ruth Nelson, one sibling, Tom.  Phoebe’s father and Uncle Tim Nelson were All-American Lacrosse Players at Syracuse University.  Uncle Tim is in the US Lacrosse Hall of Fame.  Uncle Scott played lacrosse at North Carolina State.  Cousins Tucker and Ben played lacrosse at Binghamton.  Cousins currently playing lacrosse - Jake at Syracuse, Jared at Pfeiffer, and Connor at Stevenson.

Hobbies: Enjoys baking and cooking at social gatherings and getting to know all the other student athletes.

A fact about you that people would least expect: Will graduate as an undergraduate in three years at the age of 20 and will have a Master's degree by the age of 21.
