Khamya McNeal joined the George Mason women's basketball staff as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2026 after helping the Patriots capture the program's first Atlantic 10 Championship and first NCAA Tournament appearance as a student-athlete during the 2024-25 season.
McNeal appeared in 26 games for the Patriots during the historic championship campaign, averaging 2.3 points in 6.7 minutes per game. She recorded a season-high eight points against UMass, dished out five assists and grabbed eight rebounds against Mount St. Mary's, and contributed seven points and two steals in George Mason's Atlantic 10 Quarterfinal victory over Saint Louis.
Prior to George Mason, McNeal spent three seasons at Stetson, where she appeared in all 89 games and made 34 starts. She averaged 9.2 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game as a senior in 2023-24 after posting a career-best 10.9 points per game during the 2022-23 season. McNeal scored in double figures 34 times during her Stetson career and finished with 734 career points.
McNeal began her collegiate career at Syracuse, appearing in three games as a true freshman during the 2020-21 season.
A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, McNeal attended Rufus King High School after beginning her prep career at Shorewood High School. She averaged 18.7 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists as a senior while leading Rufus King to consecutive conference championships. McNeal was named Milwaukee City Gold Player of the Year, Third Team All-State, First Team All-Conference and Team MVP following her senior season.
