PRIOR TO MASON: Played soccer freshman year and was also on the track team for four years at the University of North Carolina…Competed in 17 games with one start and recorded two assists in 2014, helping the Tar Heels capture the ACC regular season championship with a record of 9-0-1 in conference play…Helped UNC to an overall record of 14-4-2 in 2014, with the Tar Heels winning two games to advance to the Round of 16 in the NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Championship… During the 2016-17 track season, she had four top-five finishes in the 400m, placed 18th in the 400m at the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships and registered a 16th place finish in the 400m at the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships… Was also a member of the 4x400 relay team that placed sixth at the 2017 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with the fifth-fastest time in school history…During the 2015-16 track season, took 22nd in the 400m and was part of the 4x400 relay team that placed sixth at the ACC Outdoor Track & Field Championships…Selected Second Team All-ACC track…Named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll in 2016-17.
PREP: Attended Woodbridge Senior High School…Played soccer four years for the Vikings and was a member of the track team for two years…Soccer team captain three years (2012-14)…Played varsity soccer since her freshman year, receiving the Golden Boot award in 2012 and 2013 while being selected MVP both of those years…Two-time soccer First Team All-District, All-Area choice, All-Region and All-Met (2012, 2013)…Track events included 500, 400, 300, 200, 100, 4x200, 4x400, long jump and high jump…Won Virginia state championship in the 500 in 2014 and was ranked #2 in the U.S. Indoors…Member of the 4x400 Virginia state championship team in 2013…Garnered All-American title for both National and Junior Olympics events for the 4x400 in 2013…Track & Field team captain in 2013…Two-time First Team All-District and Washington Post First Team All-Met selection in indoor track (2013, 2014)…Athletic Scholar Award recipient and A/B Honor Roll selection.
