2017: Played 20 sets in eight matches with six starts…recorded a total of 21 kills with back-to-back season-high performances at Charleston (W.V.) (Jan. 12) and against King (Jan. 20) with seven kills in each…picked up all of his three solo blocks against the Golden Eagles and the Tornado and season-high six total blocks against the former…an assist against King…nine service aces, four of them against Charleston (W.V.)…completed the season with 38 points (1.90 per set).
2016: Saw action in 91 sets…Finished the season with 125 kills, 73 blocks, 22 digs, five assists and three aces…Second on the team in blocks…Recorded five block assists at Penn State (2/27)…Had 10 kills at NJIT (3/4)…Finished with four kills and two solo blocks against UC Irvine (3/22)…Produced season-high six block assists against NJIT (4/7)…Capped the season with five block assists, four digs and two solo blocks against Ohio State (5/3) in the NCAA Tournament.
2015: Did not play in his first season as a Patriot.
High School: Three-year letter winner in volleyball at Greater Latrobe … member of National Honor Society … named Greater Latrobe 2014 Male Scholar Athlete … was an All-Section honoree in 2013, 2014 … All WPIAL and All-State selection in 2014 … won the 2014 High Performance Championships International Division Gold Medal (KRVA) … played two years for Pittsburgh Volleyball Club … named to First Team, the USA A1 HP team, and the KRVA HP team one year … competed in the Junior Nationals Open Division with PVC.
Personal: Son of Angie and Jim … has one sibling … computer science major ... father, Jim, played basketball at the University of Pitt at Johnstown.
