Maylei Taylor, a three-year veteran of the men's basketball staff, was elevated to graduate assistant in 2026.
Taylor previously served as the program's administrative assistant, beginning in 2023. In that role, she assisted with coordinating practice schedules, gameday logistics and team travel, including hotel bookings and transportation. In addition, she liaised with a number of key program areas, including strength & conditioning, statistical analytics and compliance. During team practices, she tracked key performance metrics, supervised the undergraduate student manager staff and arranged meals for the team.
Taylor has also worked closely with the program as the assistant director of operations for Tony Skinn Basketball Camps since 2023.
She earned her bachelor's of science degree in kinesiology from George Mason in 2026.
A native of New Jersey, Taylor resides in NOVA.
