As a freshman played in every game and made three starts for the Patriots, finished the season sixth on the team in minutes, seventh in scoring, fourth in assists and fourth in 3-pointers... Averaged 5.5 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting 40 percent from the field in just 18.8 minutes of action per game... Led or tied for the team lead in assists five times... Had career-high five assists twice with the first time coming in first collegiate game at Vermont (11/15)... Scored in double figures five times with a career-high 19 points at East Carolina (11/22)... Against ECU, was 7 of 12 from the field and 5 of 7 from 3-point range to go with career-high four rebounds and two assists in first college game in his home state... Scored in double figures in back-to-back games with 12 against Ohio (11/29) and 10 at Liberty (12/1)... Played career-high 29 minutes at Liberty... Earned varsity letters in basketball at Victory Christian in Charlotte... As a senior, was named All-State and was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Capital Classic and Dell Curry Shootout... Increased scoring and assist per game average every season of his high school career... Scored 17 ppg as a freshman, 22 ppg as a sophomore, 25 ppg as a junior and 30 ppg as a senior...
