2017: One of the stalwart in Mason’s lineup, starting 26 of the 27 matches for a total of 92 sets on the court, tied for second-most on the team…accumulated 51 kills on 88 total attempts for a hitting percentage of 0.534, the best among Patriots with at least one attempt per match…six 1.000-hitting performances for combined 17 kills. For third-straight season, Negron was the primary orchestrator of Mason’s attack, finishing the season with 886 assists…his mark of 9.62 assists per set was fourth-best among all EIVA setters. His 21 service aces and 10 solo blocks were both second-best achievements by a Mason player and so were his 52 total blocks (0.52 per set)…one of the seven Patriots with at least 100 points (103). The Bayamon, Puerto Rico native picked up season-high five kills against No. 9 Loyola Chicago (Jan. 21)…had career-high 60 assists at Harvard (Feb. 11). Negron got the season off to a great start with season-high four service aces in the opener at Belmont Abbey (Jan. 6). Personal best of two solo blocks at then-No. 1 and now back-to-back national champion Ohio State (Jan. 10) and versus McKendree (March 3)…season-best four-block performances against Sacred Heart (April 1) and at nationally ranked Penn State (April 15).

2015: Played in 99 sets as a freshman for Mason. Awarded as the EIVA Newcomer of the Year, along with being named to the All-EIVA First Team. Selected to the Off the Block/Springbak, Inc. Freshmen All-American team. Accumulated 958 assists this season ranks eighth all time for a single season. Added 61 kills, 112 digs, and 63 blocks as well. His 63 blocks this season was second best on the team.
Prep: Negron was selected as an All-Alliance performer each of his last three years of high school... Since his eighth grade debut, his high school teams have combined for a record of 169-10 and have won back-to-back championships and MVP selections at the prestigious La Copa Primera Hora national tournament.... He is one of the top-ranked 2014 prospects from Puerto Rico... He has international experience as a long time starter in the Puerto Rican youth and junior national team program... He has competed for the national and Borinquen Coqui club team... He was a member of the Puerto Rico team that finished first in the Boys’ National Division twice at the High Performance Championships... He has competed in the Men’s Junior and Youth World Championships... He earned a second-place finish in the Junior Olympics and the Norceca U-21 tournament... Earned a spot on the Puerto Rican National Team that played in the FIVB World League competition in May 2014.
