2013:  Appeared in just two sets for the Patriots ... recorded a kill, four assists and a block in a 3-0 sweep at Rutgers-Newark on March 9.

2012: Served as the primary setter for the team during the first half of the season ... played in 70 sets with 16 starts ... led the team with 644 assists (9.20 assists/set) ... also finished with 1.36 digs/set, 0.70 blocks/set and 0.56 kills/set ... had a season-high 54 assists at Ball State on January 20 ... recorded six kills on January 19 at Ohio State ... posted a season-high seven blocks on January 14 against Ball State.

2011: Earned a medical redshirt as a freshman.

Prep: Was a scholar athlete all four years at Charles W. Baker High School ... named to the CNYCL First Team in 2010 and the Second Team in 2009 ... selected to participate in the 2010 USA Volleyball A2 Camp ... named AVCA Second Team All-American in 2010 ... received three letters in volleyball and one in track ... Graduated #6 overall in his class.

Personal: Parents are Mark and Judy Cuppernull ... has one brother Tom, who ran track at Colgate University ... his father Mark played basketball at SUNY Oswego ... grandfather George Cuppernull played basketball at SUNY Potsdam ... hobbies include beach volleyball and golf ... majoring in conflict analysis and resolution.
