FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason University men's basketball team will take on Towson as part of the Battle in Baltimore on December 19.
The event will be held at CFG Bank Arena in downtown Baltimore. The contest vs. Towson is part of a doubleheader, with Maryland and South Carolina meeting in the second game.
George Mason and Towson, former CAA rivals, have not met on the hardwood since the 2020-21 campaign. The Dec. 19 contest will mark the 45
th between the two programs. The Patriots host a 33-11 advantage in the series. The programs have not met on a neutral floor since the 2009 CAA Tournament in Richmond.
Tickets for the Battle in Baltimore will go on sale via Ticketmaster on September 2 at 10 a.m.
