FAIRFAX, Va. – The George Mason men's soccer team has been predicted to finish third in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll, the league announced on Monday afternoon.

The A10 Preseason Poll and Preseason All-Conference Team are voted on by the league's head coaches.

In this year's Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll, Saint Louis was predicted to finish first (169 pts., all 13 first place votes), Dayton second (146 pts.) and George Mason third (136 pts.)

Fordham placed fourth (132 pts.) followed by VCU (120 pts.), Davidson (106 pts.), Loyola-Chicago (69 pts.), Rhode Island and Saint Joseph's (68 pts.), Duquesne (58 pts.), La Salle (50 pts.), St. Bonaventure (32 pts.) and George Washington 29 pts.).

The Patriots kick off the 2026 season on Thursday, August 20 on the road against No. 13 Vermont in Burlington, Vt.
