FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason men's volleyball head coach
Jay Hosack has announced the addition of two incoming freshmen, Logan Jalosinski and Wyatt Berchtold, who will join the Patriots for the 2027 season.
The pair of outside hitters arrives at George Mason following standout high school careers, bringing championship experience, academic excellence, and numerous individual honors to Fairfax.
Logan Jalosinski
Jalosinski joins the Patriots after being named the 2025-26 Pennsylvania Mr. Volleyball, the highest honor awarded annually by the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association to the state's top senior boys volleyball player. The award recognizes excellence on the court while also honoring leadership, character, and dedication to the sport.
"Logan was just awarded Mr. PA Volleyball, which is quite the honor!" Hosack said. "Logan is a strong athlete, with a very good work ethic. He has great footwork, and a very good arm. His ability to terminate from anywhere on the court is going to be very beneficial for us in tight situations. We are excited for him to wear the Green and Gold!"

Wyatt Berchtold
Berchtold comes to George Mason after an outstanding career at Oceanside Collegiate Academy.
"Wyatt is one of those athletes that when you watch him warm up, you don't notice anything that stands out. Until you start watching him play, and realize he is the guy you have to watch out for because he does everything really well," Hosack said. "His ability to pass, attack, and play defense at the highest level already is a sign that he will be a threat to the other side of the net from day one. We are glad he chose to come to Mason Nation!"
